The Election Watch Poll

Each time you purchase an Election Watch you are registering your opinion in a most sacred of American ways – with your hard earned cash. Just how closely do sales of watches parallel those other high fallutin campaign polls?

2004 Election Watches Poll Results

What a wacky week on the campaign trail. Sorry we didn’t have time to make the Biden/Palin watches in time, but as the real world goes crazy over Sarah Palin’s unique style, web sales stay constant and pro-Obama.  Obama still has 78% of all watches sold.

The real world polls are a bit more erratic this week. The Gallup showing McCain ahead with 49% to Obama’s  44%. Reuters  is claiming that McCain has a five point lead and is gaining strength faster than Hurricane Ike. The trend line at USA Today  gives the bump to McCain as well.  This week we turned to Real Politics for our overview of poll-mania.

Keep buying those watches and we’ll keep the updates coming. This week we were featured on KRON (San Francisco) and on KPLA (Los Angeles) so we know our watches are coast to coast. Gotta a guess as to what happens next week? Write us at robin@wavingwatches.com. We'll give you a shout out and a free watch, too.

Students of history and e-commerce will enjoy contrasting this year’s Web 2.0 crazed election season with 2004’s watch sales.   Want to see the month-by-month Electionwatch polls from 2004?  Click here to relive the glory days of the Bush-Kerry race  http://www.electionwatches.com/poll2004.html
